My Review
This book is so captivating and draws you in immediately!
True Abandon is Relatable, HOT, and Eye Opening. Jeannine Colette's new release is amazing for so many different reasons. Ladies... One time or another we have all been burned by someone you loved. Maybe you haven't and that's good, but there are the few of us that have been so deeply hurt by someone we never expected. An in one way or another that shapes your outlook on life, and how we handle situations from then on. You may not even notice it right away, but you will. The story line is cohesive, believable, forgiving, relatable, and refreshing. Trish was burned by someone she trusted and loved deeply. The two of them had fallen in love in high school. Jackson was young, but older than Trish. Jackson was like most young men his age an was influence-able and caves to peer pressure. Jackson makes the biggest mistake and it costs him the love of his life.

True Abandon paints this beautiful picture of what it is like to forgive in the most unlikely of situations.  Any love given time and forgiveness can be repaired, even in the toughest of times. This book gives hope and teaches us that forgiveness is not just about forgiving the other person, but about helping you heal and move forward. Trish runs from everything that is Jackson Davis.  You get to see friendships tested and love renewed. Jackson and Trish have a few demons they must overcome before they are able to trust one another again and move forward to their happy ending. Watching them overcome these obstacles was inspiring!! When Trish gets a phone call in the middle of a horrible storm and is beckoned to the bed side of the man who had broken her heart.  Dose she go to him? Should she just say the heck with it and let him die alone in the hospital with no one to be there for him? Why should she even care after everything he has put her through? Sometimes we hate someone so much only because we love them even more.

Given a little white lie by Jackson's sister Trish feels horrible and doesn’t want to let him die alone. No one really deserves that.  Now if you were to tell me this story coming from anyone else I would say HELL NO!! He is toxic and run away from that mess and don’t look back!!!  Jeannie Colette has a way of weaving this story so perfectly that you can't argue it. A second chance love story. True Abandon will captivate you with every word, and steal your heart.  Jeannine Colette will transport you to Hawaii and take you on one incredible journey. I felt like I was right back in Hawaii while reading. Thank You for this beautiful love story.
