REVIEW for LAST CHANCE by Lauren Runow

Last Chance... This book stole my heart and took my breath away. Mackenzie and Connor's relationship squeezed my heart in the most fantastic way possible. The Journey Mackenzie and Connor find themselves on is heartwarming and inspiring. Mackenzie fell in love with her best friend's older brother. Pined after him for years. How many ladies have had a crush on their friend's brother growing up? (Raises hand)- What woman, or man wouldn't pray to finally have their chance, with the one person who they've held so close to their hearts for years? Having them so close to you, but yet so far out of your grasp. Thinking that you never stood a chance.

Man I am not going to lie though... I went on one heck of an emotional roller-coaster ride! One among many other things about Lauren Runow, she ALWAYS delivers and never disappoints. I can always count on a fantastic love story with some really sexy scenes!! Man can this woman can write some heated scenes!! If you have ever read any of her books there is this "Club" that makes appearances in most of her books. I am starting to think that this place really does exist. Hmm... Anywhoo, whether it does, or doesn't it is always fun to pretend. What a sneaky and fun way to approached the man you have fantasized about, but never had the courage to approach. With a nickname and a mask to conceal your identity. All the delicious and wicked things that can happen are endless. (fans self)

A part of me is elated that MacKenzie was able to live out her life with the boy she dreamed of since she was 10. Was it selfish of her to keep her secret from him at the beginning? I suppose, but putting myself in her shoes I would have done everything the same. God what I wouldn't give to read this all over again for the first time. There is so much more that I would love to say, but I don't want to spoil anything for people. This story you NEED to experience on your own! To say that I love this book would be an understatement. I am honored that I was able to receive an ARC. Anytime I am finished with one of Lauren's books, I always come away with an amazing new play list, and all sorts of emotions. The cherry on the cake. I highly recommended this book to everyone. Are you looking for a book to give you the feels? Read Last Chance. You won't regret it.
